Ideal Protein Boot Camp

*for when you hit a plateau*

NO RESTRICTED ITEMS. NO OCCASIONAL VEGGIES.

Stick to soups, jello, juices, and pudding packets.

Breakfast:
  packet, as usual.
Lunch:  packet, veggies, and salad.
Supper:  no meat protein. You can do 1 or 2 packets here. Still have veggies and salad.
Snack: packet, as usual.

You can make an omelet with 1 whole egg and 3 egg whites and your veggies for supper if you want. Again – you can add another packet if you want to double the protein.

You can decide if you want one or two packets for supper. That would put you at 4-5 packets for the day. Try this for 2-3 days. I often found that 2 days was enough to get the scale moving.

Remember LOTS of water. Add some lemon juice to your water early in the day to flush out your system.

As much as we don't want to hear it, sometimes restricteds can slow the weight loss, so a few days without should shake things up!

  5. Very helpful information here, but I was wondering if this could/would work for me. I had my gallbladder out many yrs ago and with that developed allergies to wheat, dairy, and soy to name a few. Will this help me is there "food" here I can eat?

  6. I'm really not sure. I'm not a coach, I was on the program for a while. I seem to think there is soy in the products, but maybe there are some products that don't have it. I also believe there is dairy in some products, too. My advice would be to talk to an IP coach and get it all straight from the horse's mouth.

  7. Help! I have been on IP for 4 weeks. Week 1 lost 8lbs. Then a couple days later lost 2. But since then not even a 1/2lb! Have I reached a plataue? I have been so restricted on this diet, not 1 little cheat. I'm so discouraged

    1. Most people have losses the first 3 weeks, it also depends how much you have to lose too, the bigger the person is the bigger the lose is - Water is a key in this program, I'd be talking to my couch for advice.

  10. As an Regional Development for Ideal Protein I have to say that the above recommendation is a deviation from our Medically developed protocol and is not authorized by Ideal Protein. Read your sheet and follow the diet as it was designed. There is NO BOOT CAMP in Ideal protein. The restricted packet a day is there to ensure there is no hypoglycaemia incidents. Please be careful..altering a medically developed diet like this can product some adverse side affects....Again, this is not approved by Ideal Protein..Follow the diet to a T and you absolutely will get the results.

    1. # 32 in Ideal Protein Frequently Asked Questions describes Boot Camp and calls it Boot camp. This was published in the facility manual in 2013. It calls for 5 days, 5 protein packs a day, nothing else. So I even question the fact people are talking about eggs...
